I think these hanging handkerchief vases are such a pretty idea. Once Wed was thinking of them for weddings (of course). But I think they would be lovely for any occasion. Find the instructions here. Ooh, ooh. I just had a thought on a modification of this idea. Paper wrapped around instead of fabric (yes, I have a paper addiction). Cut out intricate (or simple) designs, and put a tea light inside. Oh, this is SO pretty in my head!

Your paper cutting thing would be SO beautiful with these. I can picture them on the stair railing with flowers for a party...or anytime!
